John O'Dea

John O'Dea has extensive experience in labor relations and employment law. John is currently working as the Vice President of Labor Relations at Westchester Medical Center, a role they started in 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Associate General Counsel and Director of Labor Relations at the same company from 2022 to 2023.

Before joining Westchester Medical Center, John worked at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center as the Director of Employee and Labor Relations from 2015 to 2022.

Earlier in their career, John held positions at NYC Health and Hospitals Corporation as Associate Counsel and Chief Review Officer from 2014 to 2015, and as Associate Counsel, Labor Relations from 2013 to 2014.

John also has experience working as an Associate Counsel at NYSUT from 2010 to 2013, and at Sapir & Frumkin from 2008 to 2010. Additionally, they worked at the Law Offices of Louis D. Stober, Jr., LLC as an Associate from 2006 to 2008, and as a Law Clerk from 2006 to 2006.

John O'Dea attended Regis High School from 1992 to 1996. John then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Communications from Fairfield University, which they completed between 1996 and 2000. Afterward, they went on to study law at St. John's University School of Law from 2003 to 2006, earning a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.
