Marc Chasin

Marc Chasin is the current Chief Health Information Officer at Westchester Medical Center. Marc has previously served as the Chief Information Officer and Chief Medical Information Officer at St. Luke's Health System and as the Chief Medical Information Officer, Chief Medical Officer, and Vice President of Medical Affairs at Bon Secours Health System.

At Westchester Medical Center, Chasin is responsible for providing the vision and leadership over all enterprise information systems as well as advanced clinical information systems. Marc has introduced advanced analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence into the clinical environment.

At St. Luke's Health System, Chasin was responsible for the convergence of technology and health care. Marc provided the vision and leadership over all enterprise information systems as well as advanced clinical information systems.

At Bon Secours Health System, Chasin started as a Physician Advisor to Case Management where their key responsibility was to manage patient throughput and reduce average length of stay. Marc then transitioned into the role of Chief Medical Officer and Vice President of Medical Affairs where they managed three medical staffs at 3 community hospitals through all facets of quality, credentialing and peer review. Marc concluded their time at Bon Secours as the Chief Medical Information Officer where they led the development and implementation of ConnectCare, Bon Secours branded version of the Epic electronic health record.

Marc Chasin completed a BS in Human Nutrition from The Ohio State University, followed by an MD from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey -New Jersey Medical School. Marc then completed a residency in Family Medicine at Carnegie Mellon University. Marc is certified by the American College of Physician Executives as a Certified Physician Executive and by CHIME as a Certified Healthcare CIO (CHCIO).

They work with Kara Bennorth - EVP, Development, Julie Switzer - EVP & Chief Legal Officer, and Renee Garrick - EVP & Chief Medical Officer. Marc Chasin reports to Michael D. Israel, President and Chief Executive Officer.
