Srihari S. Naidu

Srihari S. Naidu has a diverse and extensive work experience in the medical field. Srihari S. started their career as an Internal Medicine Resident at New York Presbyterian Hospital, where they received recognition for their leadership skills. Srihari S. then pursued their fellowship at Penn Medicine, specializing in General Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology. During this time, they published several papers and played a pivotal role in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.

After completing their fellowship, Naidu joined New York Presbyterian Hospital as an Interventional Cardiologist and Assistant Professor of Medicine. Here, they introduced alcohol septal ablation procedures for Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy. Srihari S. later moved to Weill Cornell Medicine as an Assistant Professor of Medicine before taking on the role of Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at Winthrop University Hospital.

Naidu's tenure at Winthrop was for 10 years, during which they enhanced the reputation and quality of the Cath Laboratory. Srihari S. then joined Stony Brook University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine as an Associate Professor of Medicine, followed by a promotion to Professor of Medicine at New York Medical College. Additionally, Naidu holds the position of Director of Cardiac Catheterization Laboratories at Westchester Medical Center, where they oversee various procedures and maintains the efficiency and quality of services.

Throughout their career, Naidu has been actively involved in research, teaching, and providing clinical care in interventional cardiology. Srihari S. is known for their expertise in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and has transformed various programs into referral networks.

Srihari S. Naidu earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Neuroscience from Brown University in 1993. Srihari S. then pursued their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in Medicine at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, which they completed in 1997. In addition, they hold several certifications from the American Board of Internal Medicine, including Cardiology, Internal Medicine, and Interventional Cardiology.
