Daniel Han has spent the last 10 years in the automotive industry understanding car buyer behavior in order to grow marketing reach, develop future products and launch new service offerings. Currently he leads the New Business Innovation and Future Mobility Strategy efforts at Hyundai Motor America. In this role, Daniel is focused on identifying new business opportunities for Hyundai to extend its connection with consumers beyond private vehicle ownership. He seeks out strategic partnerships in the public and private sectors to identify unique value add mobility solutions. These engagements range from a collaboration with an innovative new car sharing business in Los Angeles to a Smart City connected vehicle pilot in Florida. Prior to Hyundai Motor America, Daniel spent time at Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A. both in the Marketing Strategy team studying impact of Toyota marketing efforts and the Advanced Product Strategy team developing new vehicles for Toyota, Lexus, and Scion. Daniel graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a bachelor degree in Economics and a minor in Business Management. Upon graduation he spent 6 years working for the Pacific Investment Management Company (PIMCO) in bond fund portfolio management. He then obtained his Masters of Business Administration from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
