Aunty Amy Hula And Chant Teacher For Teens at Westcoast Connection

Amy Joyce Chang is an accomplished educator and wellness practitioner with extensive experience in music, cultural education, and massage therapy. Since November 2013, Amy has served as an Elementary Music Teacher at Haiku School, fostering a love for music among young students. In addition, Amy has been a dedicated Aunty Amy Hula and Chant Teacher for Teens with Westcoast Connection / 360° Student Travel since 2011, where a two-hour workshop combines chant, hula, and lei making, enriched with Hawaiian mythology and cultural context. As a licensed massage therapist at Spa Moana since 2008, Amy has over two decades of experience in healing techniques, offering both spa and private practice services. Earlier in Amy's career, a role as a Trail Guide with Hike Maui from 2007 to 2009 showcased expertise in botanical and historical knowledge, and an acting stint at Maui Youth Theatre in 1988-1989 highlighted Amy's artistic talents. Amy's educational background includes studies at both UH Maui and UC Berkeley.
