Kate Bedford

Kate Bedford is a seasoned professional in public health and education, with a diverse background in leadership and program development. As the Founder of Let’s Talk since 2006, Bedford has spearheaded the creation of a comprehensive, research-driven curriculum for puberty and sexuality education for schools. Additionally, Bedford serves as an Internal Review Board Community Representative for WestEd, focusing on ethical research practices. Previous roles include President of the Board of Directors for Leah's Pantry, where oversight for trauma-informed nutrition education was provided, and various positions in organizations such as Cynosure Health and Venture Strategies for Health and Development. Bedford holds a Master's in Public Health from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Feminist Studies from Stanford University.
