Derek Adams

Derek Adams has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Derek began their career in 1999 as an Assembly Technician at Vectron Technologies International, where they were responsible for assembling and testing frequency control units. Derek then joined Wireless Bypass in 2003 as an RF Test Technician, where they served as the Integration & Test Lead for the DL-5800 Transceiver System and conducted various tests on boards and systems. In 2005, they joined Micronetics as a Senior Test Technician, where they contributed to the design and development of new product specifications and collaborated with systems engineers to tailor designs for customer needs. Derek then worked at DRS ICAS, LLC. (formerly DRS Codem Systems) from 2009 to 2014 as a Senior RF Test Technician, troubleshooting and debugging fielded systems and conducting acceptance tests at customer premises worldwide. Currently, they are employed at Westell as a Senior Test Engineer, a role they have held since 2017.
