Debbie Taylor

Debbie Taylor is an experienced mental health professional currently serving as a Clinician at Noank Community Support Services since January 2024. Prior to this role, Debbie was a self-employed Design Specialist after retiring from a long tenure at Westerly Public Schools, where between 1996 and 2023, roles included Professional School Counselor and Department Head of Guidance and Student Support Center. Responsibilities involved mentoring staff, overseeing a large counseling department, budget management, and delivering workshops. Earlier experience includes individual and group counseling at Westerly School Department and providing behavioral support at the 54 High Street Behavioral Intervention Program. Debbie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Science and Secondary Education and a Master of Arts in School and Agency Counseling from Rhode Island College, as well as an Honors High School Diploma from Portsmouth High School.
