Bernice Martin

Bernice Martin is an experienced professional in data privacy and compliance, currently serving as the Associate Director and Head of Enterprise Data Privacy at Western Alliance Bank since July 2023, where responsibility includes developing and overseeing a comprehensive privacy framework. Prior to this role, Bernice worked at American Express from March 2016 to July 2023 in various positions, including Program Manager, where optimization of Key Performance Indicators was a significant focus, and Compliance Manager, where implementation of a training plan for regulatory remediation was achieved. Earlier in the career, Bernice was a Lobbyist at the Arizona Coalition to End Sexual and Domestic Violence and served as an Associate Attorney at RJ Peters & Associates. Bernice holds a Doctor of Law from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a Bachelor’s degree in History from Arizona State University.
