Diane Young

Diane Bazan Young joined Western Alliance Bank in 2021, bringing more than 20 years of experience as a transactional attorney to her role as Senior Counsel for Western Alliance Bank.

In her role, Diane is responsible for counseling divisional executives, loan and credit administrators, and lenders on a variety of legal matters, including transaction structuring, diligence, documentation and negotiation. She also works diligently to educate business units on current legal trends and best practices, implement new policies and procedures, advise on enterprise-wide initiatives and manage outside counsel.

Diane spent 15 years at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP, a full-service law firm focused on the financial services, real estate, energy and technology industries. Prior to that, she served as the Legal Director for Yahoo!.

Diane graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of California, Los Angeles (1998), with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics. She went on to receive her Juris Doctor with distinction from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law (2001).
