Laurens Vaneveld

Chief Engineer at Western Allied Mechanical

Laurens Vaneveld has a strong background in engineering and has held various roles throughout their career. Laurens started in 1983 as a Staff Engineer at Heliodyne Inc., where they contributed to the engineering team for six years. Laurens then moved on to ACCO Engineered Systems in 1989, where they worked as a Senior Engineer for eight years. Following their time at ACCO, Laurens joined Tayor Engineering in 1997 as an Engineer, and later transitioned to Western Allied Mechanical in 2000 as the Chief Engineer. In all their roles, Laurens focused on producing energy efficient designs and systems for various projects, including offices, data centers, and central plant upgrades.

Laurens Vaneveld obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley from 1977 to 1981. Later, they also pursued a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same university, although the specific dates for this degree are not available.
