Eduardo Uribe

Eduardo Uribe has extensive experience in the electrical engineering field, currently serving as the Vice President of Transmission Services at the Western Area Power Administration since August 2018, overseeing transmission services for several regions. Previously held roles include Transmission Planning Manager and Supervisory Field Engineer, focusing on system impact studies and supporting engineering and construction for high-voltage installations. Concurrently, Eduardo works at InfraShield as a Subject Matter Expert in Cyber Security, delivering Quality Assurance for Cyber Security Projects. Prior experience includes roles at the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission as a Reactor Inspector and Project Engineer, and earlier positions at EL Paso Electric Company as a Student Co-op. Eduardo holds multiple Bachelor’s degrees in Applied Physics and Electrical and Electronics Engineering from New Mexico State University and New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology.
