Mike Goodman

Mike Goodman, MPA, currently serves as a Public Utilities Specialist at the Western Area Power Administration, where responsibilities include leading contract negotiations for federal hydropower marketing and transmission system maintenance. Experience also encompasses stakeholder engagement to support reliable energy delivery and updates to customer contracts. Prior roles include Graduate Teaching Assistant at the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry and Executive Committee Member for the State University of New York's Student Assembly. Earlier, Mike worked in various instructional and supervisory capacities in aquatic environments, including Swim Instructor and Lifeguard Instructor positions, as well as serving as a Residential Mentor and Instructor Trainer at WinGate Wilderness Therapy. Educational background includes a Master of Public Administration from Syracuse University’s Maxwell School and a Master of Professional Studies in Sustainable Energy.
