Steve Kunkel

Steve Kunkel, MAI, is an experienced real estate professional currently serving as Chief Appraiser at the Western Area Power Administration since February 2023. With a background in property tax consulting at TX Property Tax Experts since August 2010, Kunkel has specialized in property tax protests. Additionally, Kunkel maintains a role as a Real Estate Appraiser at Expert Appraisal Services since February 1984, focusing on right-of-way and litigation appraisals and providing expert testimony. Kunkel has been a Real Estate Broker with KIP Realty, LLC since August 1990 and has previously worked as a Review Appraiser for the US Army Corps of Engineers from May 2020 to April 2021.
