Western Area Power Administration
Tracey A. LeBeau is an accomplished infrastructure executive currently serving as the Administrator and Chief Executive Officer of the Western Area Power Administration since September 2014. With extensive experience in the energy sector, LeBeau leads the organization in marketing and delivering over 10,000 megawatts of reliable, cost-based power from 57 hydroelectric facilities across 15 states, serving a diverse range of preference customers. Previous roles include Senior Vice President at WAPA Desert Southwest Region, where operational management of over 300 professionals was conducted, as well as leadership positions at Stanford University, the U.S. Department of Energy, Dentons, Red Mountain Energy Partners, Innovation Investments LLC, Kansas Pipeline Operating Company/E3 LLC, and American Energy Solutions. LeBeau holds an A.B. degree from Stanford University and a Doctor of Law degree in Environmental and International Law from the University of Iowa College of Law.
