Brandon Joel

Brandon Joel currently serves as the Head of Enterprise Risk Management and Business Resiliency at Western Asset Management, a position held since October 2005. In this role, Brandon leads a team of risk management specialists, oversees critical governance committees, and presents on operational risk topics to clients and regulators. Brandon has successfully developed and implemented an Enterprise Risk Management Framework and managed significant projects such as T+1 and LIBOR initiatives. Prior to this, Brandon was a Senior Manager at Deloitte, where responsibilities included managing investment management advisory services and conducting operational risk assessments. Brandon's career in finance began as Treasurer of Thomas White International, overseeing mutual fund operations and regulatory compliance. Brandon holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Boston University.
