Brent Ono

Brent Ono has over 16 years of work experience in the field of IT and system administration. Brent currently holds the position of Senior End User Infrastructure Engineer at Western Asset Management, a role they have been in since January 2019. Prior to this, Brent worked at DVS Intelestream as a System Administrator, where they were responsible for Active Directory and Group Policy Management, Windows Server administration, VMWare Server administration, Palo Alto Firewall management, WSUS 2016 patch management, application deployments, and Cisco Call Manager 11. Brent worked at DVS Intelestream from October 2017 to January 2019.

Before their time at DVS Intelestream, Brent worked as a System Administrator at Stowe Research, where they were a contractor responsible for Active Directory and Group Policy Management, workstation management with SCCM 2012 R2, imaging Windows 10 with Microsoft Deployment Toolkit, and Office 365 administration. Brent worked at Stowe Research from March 2017 to October 2017.

Prior to that, Brent worked as a System Administrator at Amdocs from August 2014 to March 2017 and as a System Administrator at YP from August 2013 to August 2014. Brent also has experience working as a Sr. Support Technician at Golden State Water Company from September 2011 to August 2013.

Brent started their career at Behr Process Corporation in 2003, where they held various roles including Systems Administrator, IT Support Supervisor, and IT Support Specialist III. In these roles, they provided technical support, performed maintenance and hot fixes to servers, and researched and tested new technologies.

Overall, Brent has gained extensive experience in system administration, including Active Directory and Group Policy Management, server administration, patch management, application deployments, and technical support.

Brent Ono completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Telecommunications Management from DeVry University, where they studied from 1997 to 2000. In October 2017, they obtained a certification in "Exam 410: Installing and Configuring Windows Server 2012" from Microsoft.
