Courtney Hoffmann

Courtney Hoffmann has extensive experience in the legal field, with their most recent role being General Counsel at Western Asset Management starting in 2022. Prior to this, they held various positions at Jackson, including Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel - Legal from September 2021 to June 2022, Vice President and Deputy General Counsel - Legal from March 2021 to September 2021, and Vice President and Deputy General Counsel - Litigation and Investigations from June 2019 to March 2021. Before joining Jackson, Courtney served as a Partner at Sidley Austin LLP from May 1997 to April 2019, where they provided counsel and resolved disputes for clients in a wide range of industries, managed teams, and handled various legal matters such as contracts, mergers/acquisitions, employment issues, investigations, and bankruptcy.

Courtney Hoffmann has a J.D. with high honors from Chicago-Kent College of Law, Illinois Institute of Technology. Prior to that, they obtained a B.A. magna cum laude from Eastern Illinois University.
