Dan Giddings

Dan Giddings has a comprehensive work experience in the fields of compliance, legal affairs, and corporate law. Dan started their career in 1998 as a Corporate Associate at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP, where they worked until 2004. In 2004, they joined Western Asset Management as the Manager of Global Legal Affairs, a position they held until May 2023. In March 2023, they took on the role of Global Chief Compliance Officer at the same company.

Dan Giddings completed their undergraduate education at Claremont McKenna College from 1990 to 1994, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics & Government. Dan then pursued a Juris Doctor degree at Pepperdine Law from 1994 to 1998. In addition to their law studies, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with an emphasis in Finance from Pepperdine Graziadio Business School during the period of 1995 to 1997.
