Mark Hughes

Mark Hughes has a diversified work experience in the financial industry. Mark started their career as an Investment Banking Associate at Seattle-Northwest Securities in 1998 and worked there until 2001. In 2002, they joined W.R. Huff Asset Management as a High Yield Bond Analyst and stayed with the company until 2006. Following that, Mark joined PIMCO as a Senior Vice President from 2006 to 2009. Currently, they work as an Emerging Markets Portfolio Manager/Research Analyst at Western Asset Management, a position they have held since 2009.

Mark Hughes received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Economics from Willamette University between 1994 and 1998. Mark then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Business Administration degree in Financial Engineering from the MIT Sloan School of Management between 2001 and 2003.
