Tom Hawes has extensive experience in the field of information security and technology management. Tom began their career at Indymac Bank in 2000, where they served as a Vice President for almost a decade. In 2009, they transitioned to OneWest Bank, where they held the position of Vice President of Information Security until 2012. Tom then joined Toyota Financial Services as the Information Security Manager - National Manager, a role they held until 2016.
In 2016, Hawes moved to Western Asset Management, where they took on the role of Information Security Manager. Tom served in this position until 2019, at which point they were promoted to Chief Information Security Officer. After filling this role for some time, they became the Interim Head of Technology in 2020, before leaving the company in February 2021.
