Darren Austin

Darren Austin is an experienced Senior AFL Physiotherapist currently working with the Western Bulldogs since November 2023. With a comprehensive background in sports physiotherapy, Darren has held the position of Senior Sport & Exercise Physiotherapist at Alphington Sports Medicine Clinic since September 2013, where responsibilities include managing a diverse caseload of musculoskeletal conditions in a collaborative multidisciplinary team environment. Previous roles include Senior Physiotherapist at Geelong Cats, Head Physiotherapist for the Australian Men’s Indoor Volleyball Team, and Head Physiotherapist for the Victorian Fury Netball Team. Darren holds a Master’s of Sports Physiotherapy and a Bachelor of Physiotherapy with First Class Honours, complemented by a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science.
