Gordon Mercer

Gordon Mercer, Ph. D., is a distinguished academic with extensive experience in political science, public policy, and public administration. As a Professor Emeritus and CEO of Global Digital Post, Gordon Mercer contributed significantly to the field during a tenure at Western Carolina University from 1980 to 2011, where roles included department head, MPA director, and associate dean of research and graduate studies. Gordon Mercer founded the Public Policy Institute and held the position of Director of the Institute. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Florida and a Master's degree from UNC-Chapel Hill, supplemented by a Bachelor's degree from Wake Forest University.
