Gabe Barton

Gabe Barton currently serves as the Director of Global Payroll at Western Digital since February 2025. Prior to this role, Gabe was the Director of Payroll at Sysco from December 2022 to February 2025, leading a team responsible for payroll processes across all US states using Workday Payroll and HCM. Gabe's extensive experience at Caterpillar Inc. from July 1998 to April 2022 includes positions such as Global Payroll Director, overseeing payroll for over 50,000 employees worldwide and managing the implementation of Workday Payroll. Additional roles at Caterpillar involved directing global human resources for various divisions and managing global expatriate programs. Gabe holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
