Herbert Lin has extensive experience in the engineering field, currently serving as the VP of Engineering at Western Digital. Prior to this, Herbert held positions at Hitachi GST and Maxtor Corp. Their educational background includes a Ph.D in Physics from UC San Diego and a BS in Material Science from the University of Science and Technology of China. Herbert manages R&D of Magnetic Head Operations at Western Digital.
