Sathish Thiruvengadam

Sathish Thiruvengadam is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the storage industry, specializing in SSD validation and firmware development. Currently serving as Sr Director at Western Digital since December 2015, Sathish has held multiple leadership roles overseeing SSD validation teams and firmware engineering efforts. Prior experience includes managerial positions at Mobiveil Inc. focused on embedded software, system-level software development at Atmel R&D India Ltd, and project leadership in storage solutions at L&T Infotech. Sathish's technical expertise encompasses PCIe and SATA SSD technologies, 2D and 3D NAND memory, and backend algorithms. Education includes a Master of Science degree in Software Systems from BITS Pilani and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication Engineering from S.A. Engineering College.
