Shirley Liu

Shirley Liu is a highly accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and development. Currently serving as a Senior Technologist and Director of Software Engineering at Western Digital, Shirley has successfully architected and led global teams in creating a suite of quality control software that significantly enhanced production processes. Prior roles include Senior Software Engineer Manager at Samsung Electronics, where Shirley designed an innovative software platform and built an in-house engineering team, and Staff Software Engineer at SanDisk, focusing on automating firmware validation processes. Beginning a career at Spectracom Corp., Shirley contributed to the development of embedded software and automated testing solutions. Shirley holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Rochester Institute of Technology.
