Zohar Shmilovich is a highly experienced software professional with a strong background in software architecture and development. At Western Digital since 2015, Zohar has led the design of a multi-threaded system in C++, C#, and Python that simulates the hardware and firmware environment of SSD drives, becoming a chosen platform for numerous engineers due to its efficiency and user-friendliness. Previously, Zohar worked at Elbit Systems Ltd from 2013 to 2015, developing hard real-time embedded software in C and enhancing communication mechanisms. Earlier experience includes a role as an Electro-Optical Engineer at Intel Corporation, where Zohar initiated the development of automation tools and received an award for contributions to 22nm technology. Zohar holds degrees from Tel Aviv University and the Technion, along with specialized training in real-time embedded development.
