Stephen Alston

Stephen Alston is a Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in maintenance and engineering management, currently serving as the Maintenance & Engineering Manager at Western Extrusions Corporation since September 2015. In this role, Stephen oversees maintenance teams in Casthouse and Extrusions, implementing a comprehensive preventative maintenance program aimed at reducing downtime and improving throughput while managing costs. Previously, as Engineering Manager, Stephen led a technical team of engineers to enhance equipment reliability and support production goals. Additionally, experience includes hands-on mechanical engineering work on large aluminum extrusion hydraulic presses and relevant equipment. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, where education was completed in 2015.
