Amy Solomon

Amy Solomon, MSN, RN, currently serves as a Clinical Instructor at Western Governors University since January 2022. Previously, Amy held the role of Chief Nurse Executive at Carrus Health, providing strategic leadership across various healthcare facilities, promoting clinical excellence, patient safety, and improving patient outcomes through evidence-based practices. In addition, Amy was a Professor of Nursing at Grayson College, delivering high-quality instruction and overseeing student clinical experiences. Previous positions include Chief Nursing Officer at Promise Hospital of Dallas, Director of Outpatient Services/ER at Atrium Medical Center, ER Charge Nurse at Forest Park Medical Center, and ER Charge Nurse at Doctors Hospital. Amy's educational background includes a Master's in Leadership and Management from the University of Mary and a Doctor of Nursing Practice in Organizational Leadership, also from the University of Mary, expected in 2026.
