Julie Brown

Julie Brown is an experienced professional in leadership and organizational development with a diverse career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Director of Leadership Development & Organizational Development at Western Governors University since October 2017, Julie also operates jb Consulting as Founder & Consultant from April 2016. Previous experience includes key roles at Rio Tinto, where positions included Global Principal Advisor of Learning and Manager of Learning and Development from May 2011 to April 2016. Additionally, Julie co-founded and served as Executive Director at Gateway Academy - Residential Treatment Center from January 2001 to January 2011. Julie holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) in Clinical Social Work from the University of Utah and a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies from Brigham Young University.
