Lesley Jones

Lesley Jones is a skilled scientist with extensive experience in molecular biology and bioprocessing. Currently serving as Scientist 1 at Outpace Bio since February 2021, Lesley focuses on innovative cloning techniques within the Synthetic Biology Foundry. Previous roles include Senior Research Associate at the Institute for Systems Biology, where responsibilities included supporting molecular biology efforts and coordinating bioprocessing for a Covid-19 study. Lesley has also held positions at the Infectious Disease Research Institute, Arzeda, and Catalent Pharma Solutions, developing and optimizing fermentation and purification processes, and contributing to the advancement of antibody-drug conjugate technology. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of California, Davis and an Associate of Arts in Anthropology from MiraCosta College.
