Steve Mangapit

Steve Mangapit has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries.

Starting in 1999, they worked as a Senior Buyer at Consumer Electronic Las Vegas until 2001.

In 2002, they co-founded Global Procurement Solutions, Inc. where they served as the Senior Vice President of Finance and Logistics. This company specialized in providing procurement planning and logistics services to international manufacturing and distribution organizations.

From 2007 to 2010, Steve worked as the Vice President of Operations at Zenith American Solutions/American Benefit Plan Administrators. Steve was responsible for leading a national Third Party Administrator of employee benefit plans, with a focus on health, welfare, pension, and retirement plans. In 2010, Steve transitioned to Assistant Vice President of Operations at Western Growers, where they were responsible for directing the activities of claims operations, call center operations, billing, eligibility, and enrollment for the Western Growers Assurance Trust (WGAT).

From 2010 to 2014, they held a similar role as Assistant Vice President of Operations at Pinnacle Claims Management, Inc. (PCMI). Steve was responsible for overseeing claims operations, call center operations, billing, eligibility, and enrollment. Notably, they played a pivotal role in securing a contract with the State of California to administer the Small Business Health Options Program (SHOP) at the state-based exchange Covered California.

In 2014, Steve joined Keenan, the largest privately held insurance brokerage/consulting firm in California, as the Vice President. Their responsibilities included directing and leading Keenan's Employee Benefits TPA, specifically focusing on the administration of self-funded employee benefit plans for large employers in hospitals, healthcare organizations, schools, and public agencies. Steve oversaw claims, client services, customer service, eligibility, billing, and business development.

Since 2021, Steve has served as the Chief Operating Officer at Western Growers, where they continue to contribute their expertise and leadership to the organization.

Steve Mangapit completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas.
