Walt Duflock's work experience includes various roles throughout their career. Walt is currently the Vice President of Innovation at Western Growers where they focus on driving innovation and helping AgTech startups scale in areas such as harvest automation solutions and food safety solutions. Prior to this, they served as a Partner at San Bernardo Rancho, where they developed acres of specialty crops and vineyards, built water infrastructure, and created growth strategies. Walt has also worked as a startup advisor, angel investor, and entrepreneur, leveraging their expertise to drive product, business, and go-to market strategy for multiple startups. As the Executive Innovation Leader at THRIVE AGTECH, Walt drove program changes and built a quantitative framework for startup evaluations. Walt also served as the VP of Marketing at APTARE, where they improved lead funnel and solution selling processes. Additionally, they held the position of Director of Marketing and Business Development at MerchantCircle, driving marketing initiatives and creating recurring revenue streams. Walt's earlier experience includes a role as Sr Manager of the Trading Assistant Program at eBay, where they executed product and marketing strategies and developed strategic relationships.

Walt Duflock obtained a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree in Law from Santa Clara University School of Law, where they studied from 1989 to 1992. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, earning a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business with a focus on Accounting. Walt attended the university from 1983 to 1988.
