Richard Horton

Chief Medical Informatics Officer at Western Health

Richard Horton is currently serving as the Director of the Department of Anaesthesia and Pain Medicine at Western Health since 2012. Richard also holds the position of Chief Medical Informatics Officer and Deputy Director in the same department. Additionally, Richard has also worked as an Education Officer at the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists. Richard recently completed a sabbatical with the Victorian Department of Health as a Project Lead in the Digital Health branch. Richard's educational background includes a Graduate Certificate in Health Professional Education from Monash University and a M.B.B.S. in Medicine from the University of Melbourne.
