Joe Mc Swiney has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Joe currently serves as the Principal at Nua Holdings, LLC, where they focus on providing an exit path for founders and investors in the outdoor and related markets. Prior to this, they held the role of VP North Region at Western Integrated Technologies, a manufacturer and integrator of fluid power and electronic systems.
Previously, Joe was the CEO at SOG Knives & Tools, a tactical gear brand, where they led a successful private equity-backed turnaround. Joe also served as the President & CEO of Cascade Designs, Inc., a company specializing in outdoor adventure gear. Additionally, Joe held the position of General Manager at Cascade Designs Ltd., responsible for manufacturing and market development in Europe.
Joe began their career as a Consultant at Enterprise Ireland, where they played a role in the development and growth of indigenous Irish enterprises. Overall, Joe Mc Swiney has showcased their expertise in leadership and business development across various industries.
Joe Mc Swiney completed their B.Tech. (Elec) in Electronics Engineering at Munster Technological University from 1982 to 1986. Joe then pursued an MBA in Business Administration and Management, General at the University of Galway from 1992 to 1994.
