Duane Bertrand

Duane Bertrand has over 25 years of experience in the energy industry. Duane began their career in 1991 as an Engineering Intern at Shell in Calgary, where they wrote software to simulate the performance of API 618 recip compressors and provided analysis and reports for rotating equipment. In 1995, they joined Fluor as a Mechanical Engineer, eventually becoming an Engineering Manager, Salesperson, and Project Manager. In 2006, they moved to CB&I Lummus as a Director of Business Development. From 2010 to 2017, they held various Vice President and Business Development Manager positions at Bechtel, where they managed Bechtel's operations and business activities in Angola and was responsible for work between Bechtel and key customers. In 2017, they joined Wison Offshore & Marine as Vice President of Business Development (WOM USA). Most recently, they have been Senior Vice President at Western LNG LLC since 2019, where they are involved in the development of liquefied natural gas export projects in North America.

Duane Bertrand attended the University of Calgary from 1988 to 1992, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
