WMCA is one of 10 community action agencies in Maine, and part of a national network of community action agencies.  Its mission is focused on helping people become economically independent.  WMCA's programs include: Employment & Training, Nutrition Services, WIC, Foreclosure Prevention Counseling, Homeownership Counseling, Budget Counseling, Family Self-Sufficiency,Fuel Assistance, Housing, and Elder Services.
