Tyrel Skinner, CIH, CSP, currently serves as a Safety Engineer at Western Metals Recycling, a Nucor Company, since August 2022. Previously, Tyrel held the position of Health and Safety Specialist at Itafos from February 2021 to August 2022 and worked as a Process Safety Engineer at Autoliv from July 2017 to February 2021. In the role at Autoliv, responsibilities included managing the Process Safety Management program, leading the Management of Change process, conducting hazard mitigation through various methodologies, supervising incident investigations, and overseeing the industrial hygiene program. Earlier experiences include roles as a Welder/Fabricator at Logan Coach Inc, an Industrial Hygiene Intern at Autoliv, an IT Project Temp at ATK, and a Cabinet Shop Worker at Logan Coach Inc. Tyrel earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health and Industrial Hygiene from Utah State University, completing studies in 2017.
