Carol Heinicke

Carol Heinicke has over 20 years of work experience in the field of information technology. Carol started their career in 1992 as a Systems Administrator at the Kalamazoo Gazette. In 1996, they joined Western Michigan University Homer Stryker, M.D. School of Medicine as an Information Technology Director. Carol has held this position since then.

Carol Heinicke obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Computer Information Systems from Western Michigan University, where they studied from 1991 to 1993. In November 2019, they also obtained a certification as a Certified HIPAA Compliance Officer (CHCO) from the American Institute of Healthcare Compliance, Inc.
