Derek Draft Dds, Dabfo

Derek Draft, DDS, DABFO, serves as the President Elect of the American Board of Forensic Odontology Inc and holds multiple leadership roles, including chair of various committees and as a board member. Since September 2019, Derek has been a Forensic Odontologist at Blake Emergency Services and has held the position of Fellow at the American Academy of Forensic Sciences since February 2019. With over 25 years of experience in dentistry, Derek owns Grandville Family Dental Care, P.C., and co-owns Centre Dentaire Lafleche while also serving as a General Dentist at Centre De Santé Dentaire Candiac. In academia, Derek is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker, M.D. School of Medicine. Additionally, Derek has been a partner at Incisal Edge Products since 2005, focusing on dental innovations. Educationally, Derek holds a DDS from the University of Michigan and a Fellowship in Forensic Odontology from The University of Texas at San Antonio, alongside a BS in Chemistry from Hope College.
