Michael Fusko has extensive work experience in the field of information technology. Michael began their career at Manifold Services, Inc. in 1998 as a System Administrator. In 2006, they joined West Michigan Cancer Center as the Chief Information Officer and I.T. Director, where they managed various responsibilities including policy and procedure management, telecommunications, asset management, and project management. In 2018, they moved on to become the Chief Information Officer/VP of Information Systems and Technology at InterCare Community Health Network. Currently, Michael holds the position of Senior Director of Information Technology and Chief Information Officer at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine.

Michael Fusko obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from Western Michigan University from 1996 to 1998. Later, they pursued further studies and completed a Master of Health Informatics degree at the University of Illinois Chicago from 2012 to 2016.
