Steven Proper Do

Steven Proper, DO, PhD, serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine, where a Pediatric Allergy and Immunology practice is being developed. Prior to this role, Steven completed an Advanced Allergy & Immunology Research Training Fellowship and served as a Clinical Fellow at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. Steven's earlier training includes a Pediatrics Residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin and participation in the DO-PhD program at Michigan State University, focusing on Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Earlier research experience was obtained as an ORISE Research Fellow at the National Institute for Occupational Safety & Health and as a Technical Services Coordinator at R-Biopharm, Inc. Steven holds a B.S. in Environmental Chemistry from Kettering University and has completed fellowships and residency training in Allergy & Immunology and Pediatrics.
