Surya P.

Surya P. is currently a Medical Student at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine, following a pre-medical foundation at The University of Toledo, where a dual degree in Biology and Finance was completed. Experience includes working as a Medical Scribe at iScribeMD, where Surya P. transcribes patient medical histories and clinical encounters, and serving as an Ambassador at UT Medical Center, focusing on customer service and patient assistance. Additional involvement includes over 700 hours of shadowing at Michigan Physicians Group, volunteering over 200 hours at Karmanos Cancer Institute, and conducting COVID-19 contact tracing. Surya P. has also conducted research at the School of Exercise Rehab Sciences and shadowed a Rheumatologist in Chennai, India. Career goals include becoming a Cardiologist.
