John Allen

John Allen is an experienced accounting professional currently serving as the Expenditure Accounting Manager at Western Midstream since November 2019. In this role, John leads the finance aspect of the SAP S/4HANA implementation and oversees various accounting functions, including joint interest accounting, property accounting, and month-end close processes. Prior to this, John held multiple positions at Anadarko Petroleum Corporation from May 2013 to November 2019, including Expenditure Accounting Supervisor and Staff E&P Property Accountant, where John gained extensive experience rotating through several accounting departments. John's early career included a role as a Graduate Assistant at Sam Houston State University and an Audit Intern at Ernst & Young. John holds a Master's degree in Accounting as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Sam Houston State University.
