Michael Loureiro

Michael Loureiro is an experienced Operations Manager currently leading 130 employees at Western Midstream, overseeing the safe and efficient operation of 50 salt water disposal facilities, 40 compressor stations, and 12 oil gathering facilities in the Permian Basin since March 2020. Previously held roles include Facilities Engineer at Oxy and Anadarko Petroleum Corporation, where responsibilities involved the design, procurement, construction, and commissioning of multiple salt water disposal facilities. Additional experience includes roles as Operations Engineer and Planning Engineer at Anadarko Petroleum Corporation, as well as a Naval Special Warfare Officer in the US Navy. Michael Loureiro holds an MBA in Finance from the SMU Cox School of Business and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University.
