Rogier Pouwer

Rogier Pouwer has a diverse and extensive work experience in the automation and technology engineering field. Rogier is currently serving as the Director of Automation & Operations Technology at Western Midstream since December 2019. Previously, they held the role of Automation & Technology Engineering Manager at Occidental Petroleum and Anadarko Petroleum Corporation, where they worked on various projects related to engineering, operations, and technology support. Prior to that, Rogier worked as a Technical Services Manager & Business Development Leader at Barry D. Payne & Associates, Inc. and held key positions at Honeywell Process Solutions and Aspen Technology. At Honeywell, they served as an Advanced Solutions Leader and Business Consultant, responsible for sales, marketing, and business development of advanced software solutions. Rogier also worked as a Senior Control Engineer, gaining experience in the deployment of multivariable control and optimization strategies.
