Christopher Hampton has a diverse work experience, primarily in the field of information technology. Christopher is currently working as the Director of Information Technology at the Western North Carolina Conference UMC since January 2022. Prior to this role, they held the position of Director of Web and Database Administration from January 2019 to December 2021. Christopher also worked as a Full Stack Web Developer for a brief period from June 2018 to December 2018, and as a Web and Database Consultant from July 2016 to May 2018, both at the Western North Carolina Conference UMC.
Before joining the Western North Carolina Conference UMC, Christopher worked at Niner United Campus Ministry as an Office Administrator and Web Developer from July 2014 to August 2018.
In addition to their IT roles, Christopher has experience in management as an Aquatics Supervisor at Great Wolf Lodge from November 2011 to June 2014, where they were responsible for maintaining a lifeguard staff and ensuring the overall operation of the water park.
Christopher Hampton's education history includes a period from 2008 to 2014, during which they attended the University of North Carolina - Charlotte. Christopher obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Religion/Religious Studies from this institution. In 2017, they pursued further education at freeCodeCamp, where they earned a Full Stack Web Development Certification in the field of Computer Software Engineering.
