Julie Reis

Julie Reis has extensive experience in the fields of education and caregiving, currently serving as a Provider at Reis Adult Foster Home since November 2014 and an Adjunct Instructor at Western Oregon University since September 2021. Previously, Julie held roles as Pastor of Deaf Ministries and Interpreter Coordinator at Salem Alliance Church and worked as a Caregiver at Heise Adult Foster Home. Additionally, Julie served as a Deaf/HoH Independent Living Specialist at Living Independently for Empowerment (LIFE), focusing on advocacy, curriculum development, and job coaching. Julie also has experience as an American Sign Language Instructor at Western Oregon University and the Upward Bound Program. Julie holds a Master of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling from Western Oregon University and two Bachelor's degrees in Family and Child Studies from Gallaudet University.
