Denise Morton

Denise Morton is a seasoned media and communications professional with extensive experience in various roles. Currently serving as a Media and Communications Specialist at Western Power since October 2022, Denise has also held the position of Director at Strategy Media since June 2008, focusing on consultancy in media, freelance journalism, and public relations. Previous roles include Media and Communications Adviser and Acting Coordinator of Communications and Marketing at the City of Belmont WA from July 2014 to September 2022, as well as Editor at the Albany Advertiser from 1997 to 2008. Denise has contributed to Soroptimist International of the South West Pacific and Soroptimist International of Western Australia as a Member and Public Relations Convenor, respectively, and served as President of BNI Albany Success - WA. Denise holds a Bachelor’s degree in English and Journalism from Curtin University and is an alumna of Perth Modern School.
